Ghost HuntersThe Elms Resort & Spa in Excelsior Springs, Missouri was built in the 1880's to accommodate the thousands of visitors flocking to the area, which had rapidly gained a reputation of having mineral springs with magical healing powers. The first Elms Resort was opened in 1888 and burned down in 1898. They opened a new hotel in 1912 (which has recently been renovated).
