At England's last remaining slate mine in Honister in The Lakes, owner Joe Weir is running out of time and slate. He has a twenty tonne order of Westmorland Green slate to ship out but his workshop is low on quality raw material to craft.

In The Lakes, hill farmer and award winning sheep breeder Arnold Lancaster needs to rebuild a dry stone wall, after his sheep break out of his farm and into a neighbouring farm.
