This first episode covers the last week of February to late March. When American troops started their final invasion of Nazi Germany in February 1945, U.S. Army cameramen were at their side. Over a thousand reels have been preserved; many of them untouched for decades. The cameramen covered many stories of victory and defeat, death and liberation. Faces of despair and joy, scenes of war and peace.
