Vietnam: Combat Machines and Weapons
The Vietnam War pitted technology against determination. The U.S. and South Vietnamese forces relied on their superior firepower yet couldn't overcome the resolve of the North Vietnamese and Viet Cong forces. Nowhere was this more evident than on the Ho Chi Minh Trail. The Americans used an abundance of jet fighters, the iconic Huey helicopters as well as river patrol boats to try and stop them.
