German Fighters

Hitler acknowledged the existence as the new German air force known as the Luftwaffe on the first of March 1935. The front line fighters of the Luftwaffe during WWII were the Bf-109 and the FW-190. Interviews with pilots who flew these planes and officers who sent them into battle. The film covers German Fighter development and Luftwaffe strategy from the 1930's to the end of World War II.
