But first, out in the front yard, Roger shows Kevin an old Norway maple that has seen better days. Damage to the trunk makes it weak and dangerous. A local tree specialist removes the tree. The yard is now opened up to plant new trees. Arborist Eric Roensch prunes the birch tree in order to expose the beautiful bark and to remove branches from the house.
