Mayi de la Vega on Being First Cuban Woman to Own Sotheby's Franchise
Mayi de la Vega, the first Cuban American woman to own a Sotheby's franchise, joined Cheddar's "Closing Bell" to discuss her journey as a hispanic entrepreneur. De la Vega said that she got her start as a real estate agent and was eventually able to open her own small business after establishing herself in the industry. "This is the country of opportunity - of freedom and opportunity," she said.
