UN Report: Fossil Fuel Production Out of Sync with Global Climate Goals

Fossil fuel production around the world is more than double what's currently allowed under the Paris climate agreement. According to a new report from the United Nations, governments need to cut production of coal, oil, and gas by more than half in the coming decade to even have a chance of keeping global warming from reaching dangerous levels. Amy Harder, executive editor of Cipher, a publication by Breakthrough Energy, joined Cheddar to discuss the findings of the report.
