It's the summer of 1994 in a world of broken families, cassette tapes and hard times, life is simple but bleak for the kids of one quiet town. Picked on, ignored and trying to figure out how to survive, the kids are looking for anything to change their lives. When a rumor stirs about a legendary giant carp in the nearby ponds, a group of friends set out on a fishing expedition to land the big one!
