First Look: VICTORY CARBON TRAD

These new "wood like" arrows from Victory aren't wood at all. They're a carbon core shaft overlaid with linen, a natural fiber woven from flax. They're tipped with 80-grain stainless steel inserts and factory hand fletched. The linen process, I was told, comes from violin manufacturing where it's used for sound dampening. The result is a deep wood smell when you zip the end on an arrow saw, and a unique woody texture on every shaft-but with none of the downsides of cedar.
